In addition to matching style-wise, it’s equally important to find a photographer you feel comfort with and are excited to work with.

I take time to get to know you and your dog ahead of time so that when the big day arrives you won’t feel rushed, pressured or stressed and most importantly neither will your dog. I love to do consults in person, over your choice of beverage, but also am happy to chat over the phone if that fits better in your schedule.

I travel to you on location. That means you can choose to take photos in your backyard, a place where your dog is completely relaxed, a location you and your dog love or at a picture perfect location I can suggest. I have a great list of beautiful locations and can help you make the best choice for you, your dog, and your style.

Because I only accept 3 sessions per week, I am often booked weeks to months in advance, depending on the time of year. Whether you have an immediate need or are looking ahead to a session months in advance, please reach out to me. I always do my best to accommodate but options may be more limited for last minute needs.

When you start the process you may not know what you want to do with your images and that is ok! It’s my job to help guide you and uncover the options that fit your needs. Through my professional photo labs I can get you (nearly) anything you can think of. Some of my most popular items are prints, canvases, albums, and framed portraits. The end result will be images you adore displayed in a way you can cherish for many years to come.

Do you have the perfect spot for a canvas above your fireplace? Are you hoping for a collage of black and white images to line your hallway? If we are aiming for a certain style or size, I can photograph and edit with that in mind. If you haven’t thought of wall art before your session is the time to start and I can help you evaluate your space and options. After all, why not decorate your home in a way that will bring a smile to your face when you look at it each day and is uniquely your own.

All the details from your shoes to your dog’s collar come together in your images so we definitely want to make sure everyone is comfortable, coordinates, and looks their best. The location of your session, along with the style you’re going for, are both factors to consider when deciding what to wear. I’ll give you tips and am always happy to look at your outfit choices ahead of time. When planning, don’t forget about your dog too. You’ll want to bathe your dog and use your nicest collar and leash. These little details and more will all be covered before your session. Perfection is in the details!

Your session fee includes the spoiling of your precious dog with attention, love, and belly rubs from anywhere from one to two hours. I’m always prepared with treats and goodies to keep your dog interested and engaged. I’ll talk and laugh with you while simultaneously fussing over your dog. And yes, most importantly my camera will be in my hand, constantly documenting the love, fun, and personalities in front of me.

About 7-10 days after I take your photos, we’ll meet back up for the viewing and ordering session. You’ll gush over your images and we’ll laugh about your dog’s quirky personality and how the images bring to life what you love about your dog. I’ll share the results, show sample products, and give you ideas and insight on what to do with the images. You’ll place your order and I’ll go on to do the behind the scenes work to get the final products to you in 2 to 4 weeks.

Before delivery to you, each product is checked by me to meet my standards of perfection and accuracy. Your order will arrive perfectly packaged in my boutique packaging so you can enjoy unwrapping and savor the moment of seeing your vision come to life. Depending on your order and location, I’ll either mail or hand deliver. If you order wall art I will even stay and help you hang your new décor if you’d like.
